That's not negative, JB; that's just the way it is. You cannot reason with a fanatic.

Bill,

What I really find interesting is there is constant hammering from many individuals throughout America about stopping the war and showing the body count in the newspapers and other MSM, yet the masses are totally silent on the 500,000 Americans killed annually by tobacco products.

Since the War in Iraq started, 1,500,000 Americans have been killed by tobacco (and an additional 135,000 in vehicular accidents). And amazingly, no large outcries from the liberals. All you hear is Stop the War! cries throughout the liberal world.

How many people are being killed by burning leaves and trash?

I asked that and get a non-response thrown back at me. I want reality. I want statistics that I can use to fight a battle. I am a warrior and have been for most of my life. I can engage in a leaf burning ban battle, but only if I have the ammunition to go on the attack.

I can get the ammunition on tobacco, vehicular accidents, lives save from life-flight helicopters, decibal readings, etc.

Show me also what laws have been sent to the Illinois State Congressional bodies to stop leaf and trash burning. Were any sent? Why not, if not? If they were sent, why weren't they passed?

I truly would like to help out JB, but I think you are correct.
