I don't see that as a fair criticism. The person who does research is not necessarily the person who should appear in public to press for change. I am not a politician and have no desire to be.
It will take more than one person to accomplish this task. I've done some of the research. You do some of the leg work. That seems a reasonable division of labor to me.
If the person doing the research REALLY wanted change that bad, that person would do the leg work as well. That was the point I am trying to make. You are trying to get other people involved in these crusades of yours, but your attempt at leadership has never been by example.
I know that buring leaves is bad, everyone does! Any kind of smoke is a carcinogen, that's a known fact. However, its just the easiest way to get rid of lawn debris quickly. It may not be the best way, buts its the most efficient way. Sure, I could make a mulch pile and let it sit in my backyard for a year, but its an eyesore, not to mention one more thing to mow around. I'd rather just burn the leaves in one day and be done with em! Maybe you'll call it lazy...I call it working smarter not harder!
I miss these conversations we use to have on the RN forums JB...I have been away too long!!
